So how can your laziness help you lose weight??

 

As you will probably know by now, the only way to lose body weight is to ensure that you consume less calories than you use.

Yes other factors such as hormonal balance, genetics etc can play a factor but ultimately all you need to worry about is the number of calories you consume/drink etc…

 

Now, one of the easiest ways to reduce the number of calories you consume is to do something called intermittent fasting aka Not eating for a certain amount of time.

 

There a 3 main IM (intermittent fasting) methods..

 

  1. 16/8 – Only eat for 8 hours a day then fast for the remaining 16
  2. 5:2 – Restrict calories to approx 500 per day for 2 days
  3. Eat Stop Eat – Not eating for 24 hours a coupe of times a week.

 

I believe the easiest method is the 16/8, and this is where laziness comes in.

 

You are essentially skipping breakfast and not eating until 1 o’clock.

 

So with that time in the morning which you are saving not preparing breakfast you could have another 20 mins in bed, go for a walk, read a chapter or two and so on and so on…

 

Intermittent fasting only works if you don’t overeat during the eating phase. The only way to ensure yo don’t do this is by tracking your calories… Boring? Yes but essential if you want to drop a bit of weight.
