1. About Us
Alex Selby Health & Fitness is operated by Alex Selby, a sole trader trading as Alex Selby Health & Fitness.
2. Bookings & Payments

All reformer Pilates sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via the online booking system.

Sessions are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis and are non-transferable.

Bookings are valid only for the date and time selected.
3. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session start time will be charged in full.

Any refund or credit for late cancellations is entirely at the discretion of the Studio.

Cancellations must be made via the booking system; messages or emails may not be accepted as valid notice.
4. No-Shows

Failure to attend a booked session without notice will be treated as a late cancellation.

No-shows are charged in full.

Refunds or credits for no-shows are issued only at the Studio’s discretion.
5. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be refused entry for safety reasons.

Late arrivals are not entitled to a refund or credit.

Sessions will not be extended to accommodate late arrivals.
6. Studio Cancellations

The Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to instructor illness, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

Where this occurs, clients will be offered either a refund or the option to rebook.
7. Health, Safety & Medical Responsibility

Clients must complete a health questionnaire before participating in reformer Pilates sessions.

It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or changes to health prior to each session.

Clients participate at their own risk and agree to follow all instructor guidance.
8. Pregnancy Policy

Reformer Pilates sessions are not suitable for pregnant clients unless the session is specifically designated as a pregnancy Pilates class.

Pregnant clients must not book standard reformer Pilates sessions.
9. Assumption of Risk

Reformer Pilates involves physical exertion and the use of specialist equipment.

By booking a session, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with physical exercise.
10. Mandatory Grip Socks
-
Grip socks are mandatory for all reformer Pilates sessions.

Clients without grip socks may be refused participation for safety reasons and will not be entitled to a refund.
11. Age Restrictions

Clients must be 18 years or older to attend sessions unless otherwise stated.

Proof of age may be requested.
12. Conduct & Right to Refuse Participation

Clients must behave respectfully and follow instructor guidance at all times.

The Studio reserves the right to refuse participation or future bookings where behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.
13. Personal Belongings
-
Personal items are brought into the Studio at the client’s own risk.

The Studio accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.
14. Liability
-
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise, the Studio’s liability is limited to the value of the session booked.
15. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR.

Client information is used solely for booking, communication, and Studio operations.
16. Changes to Terms & Conditions

The Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always apply to new bookings.
17. Governing Law
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
